It was hybridized by the late great Betty Fretz in 2017. We named this daylily and have it on display at the Beausejour Daylily Gardens. Want to get a piece of this beauty? The Beausejour Daylily Gardens is having a Facebook Auction for this chainsaw carved Bald Eagle donated by local carver Russ Kubara.
Carved from a 24 inch diameter Manitoba Maple log, this carving is 35 inches tall and is ready for outdoor or indoor display. The dark areas are "burned and brushed" with some spray enamel for extra protection. An outdoor Spar Varnish has also been applied.
Bids will be in minimum increments of $10.
The starting bid is $100 and there is a modest reserve.
The auction will end at 12 midnight,October 18 and the highest bidder will be announced at the Daylily Gardens Nifty Nag event, Saturday, October 19.
